Focused on Life Change
If Sunday school learning doesn't lead to life transformation, what's the point?

Fun. Fellowship. Bible learning and biblical literacy.

All of these are important priorities for any Sunday school teacher. But the goal of every Sunday school program should be to see life transformation through an encounter with Jesus Christ and His Word.

Bible-in-Life follows a Four-Step Learning Plan designed to mirror the compelling approach that Jesus often used in His teaching, an approach focused on life transformation.

  • Jesus started where His students were.
  • Jesus shared life-changing truth.
  • Jesus explained how His truth applied.
  • Jesus called for action.

The Four-Step Learning Plan follows a similar pattern:

Step 1: Motivate
Step 0ne links your students' life experiences (home, friends, school, etc.) to the Lesson Focus to generate interest in the topic.

Step 2: Learn the Facts
Step Two presents the Bible content to your students.

Step 3: Practice
Step Three provides a variety of opportunities to practice the information they've just acquired.

Step 4: Apply
Step Four encourages your students to apply what they've learned to their everyday experiences.
