This year’s Cook Communications Ministries WaterWorks!™ Park VBS will take kids on a fun-filled water park adventure. Each day kids will visit exciting park Attractions and spend time learning of God’s love for them. However, children in India may never get the opportunity to know Jesus or His love. Why? They have no Bibles. Sadly, Indian children face harsh poverty.

WaterWorks!™ Park VBS invites your children to ride the wave of God’s love. Your VBS kids can share Jesus’ love with children who live in India today by giving them the book, Life of Christ printed in their heart language. With money raised, your VBS kids can give eager children the Life of Christ, the Gospel portion of the Picture New Testament Picture Bible.

With nickels and dimes, your VBS kids can send the story of Jesus to children in remote villages—and have it printed in Hindi or in their heart language. Bible club teachers in India’s slums will delight in giving kids this colorfully illustrated book to treasure and take home to read to their Hindu or Muslim families.

Cook Communications Ministries International (CCMI) will print, bind, and distribute these beautiful books. In India, where several million copies have already been distributed, it is often the little children who bring unsaved friends to church. CCMI has collected countless stories of fathers and mothers, grandparents and uncles coming to life in Christ because of a child’s simple faith.

Get Your Church Involved

Each opening assembly: Talk about Project: River of Life during the first day of your VBS. Use a world map to show kids where India is located. Then during each opening assembly, collect an offering. Each Life of Christ book costs only $1.

Coin Drive: Kids may not think they have much to give, but they will be amazed at how quickly their pocket change adds up! Make it fun. Drop coins into a clear container or fish bowl filled with water to represent a WaterWorks!™ Park pool, waterslide or aquarium. Paint a Bible or a map on it. Or, use an ornate box painted to look like a treasure chest.

All-Church Challenge: After VBS, have kids present Project: River of Life to the rest of the church and ask members to match what they have raised.
